The gentleman that works there is awesome name starts with a S … at a loss right now… but it’s his parents property turned motel that he took over over time… nice clean motel AC is awesome … shower pressure is great…. Most importantly nice and quiet! Most definitely staying here again one my next trip to Kernville…. NO QUESTION !
Only place in town that answered the phone at midnight and gave us a room for the night (after an unexpected change of plans). Considering the situation, we expected a higher price but it was very reasonable. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was big and well furnished. We had a microwave, a fridge, a table to sit at, even an electric fireplace. Everything in the room worked and looked maintained. Bed was a nice firm and comfortable foam mattress. Very cute colorful bedsheets!
or my activities. It was quiet, though they were quite booked. Everyone was private but friendly. Office also kept to themself but was always willing to be right there everytime I did need something. It was perfect if your looking for a comfortable motel where u can come and go as if it were your own home. Never had the feeling they were monitoring my room, my guests or anything else that also of motels in the city seem to do. Price was ok, room cleanliness ways ok but overall atmosphere and experience made me a returning guest! I've been there 3 times now and will visit again
It's a motel folks. It's run down but it has the basic and that's all you need. Make the most of your outdoor experience. The price is more than fair, especially on a holiday weekend. All the campsite are booked and set came in last minute. Grateful and plan on having a great time away from the motel. The hotel manager is great. Look at the pictures it's what your going to get. Nothing fancy here. It gets the job done and we don't have to set up our camping tent and the likes. I'm good.
Clean, cozy place, with outdoor tables for late nnights sitting under neon lights of illumination. Fresh air and kiiing sized beds and price is great, the only thing is shower was bit to low for us we are 6 feet tall.
